19 years and counting

I can't believe that it was 19 years ago that me and Chris tied the knot....let me re-phrase that. I can't believe me and Chris have made it 19 years without killing each other! I know this might surprise you, but sometimes I am not the easiest person to live with. "Say it aint so" I hear you all cry...but alas tis true. And believe me Chris is no walk in the park everyday either. Just kiddin' ( I really am very easy to live with :))

When we met 20 years ago and I told him from day 1...." if you are looking for Hazel ( a tv show back in the 70's about a maid named Hazel) then you are with the wrong person".I don't cook and I don't clean..but I love food and a clean house... so you see, here was our first conundrum. Apparently, he was good with that because we were married a year later. I have cooked 2 meals in the last 19 years, which were inedible (and there was also a taco shell fire incident that merits it own post). So, Chris cooks and we have a great cleaning lady once a week. Problem solved and happy marriage ensued.

19 years, 2 kids, and 3 dogs later, the Armstrongs are going strong. The point of this post is if you put it all out there from the very beginning and find someone who is completely trainable then you too can have a happy marriage....until next time :)
