A dog's life

You know you're a red neck when you have more dogs than kids! Well..the Armstrong's fit that bill now! It all began 4 years ago when we got our "Maltese" (i use this term loosely....even though we paid "Maltese" price and got "Maltese" papers" he looks like a Bichon....a WHOLE other post for a whole other day). After major family debates, we named him Tater. Then 2 years later we rescued dog number 2 (we were told that he was a Maltese/Pomerania mix...yet another mistruth.) Again after much debate, we named him Biscuit. Now I am sure you are aware that my family has food issues...again, whole other post for a whole other day! Then 2 weeks ago we learned via Facebook that another dog was in need of a home. Ironically we got this REAL Maltese for free. We named him Grits....yes, we now have Tater, Biscuit, and Grits. Grits has lived in a crate for 8 months straight ....so needless to say he ran and ran and ran around the house for the last 10 days. However, now that I am out of school he has learned to sleep in my lap as I watch reality TV (Khloe and Lamar is on as I am typing this) and play on my iPad. This dog couldn't even go up or down stairs days ago and now he jumps up in the Lazyboy and is mad when I have to get up! The point of this post is I can train anyone to be a couch potato no matter what your background is! Must go now...I must surf the guide to find the next reality show that is calling my name......until next time :)
